The project seeks to the interpretation of the “threshold” in the urban tissue, specially located on Tsaldari Street, and at the same time the shaping of an urban attitude being in the middle of two intense natural parameters (waterfront, Peukia Forest ). In other words we create a new cluster of natural and cultural elements which compose a new “topos”. The dunes break the boundary of the urban environment, as fragments of natural textures and materials appear in their raw form repeatedly in the composition. Complementary, platforms of different textures each time, define an informal vehicle path for emergencies and supply of stores. Finally, a steel-metal grid, houses the “antechamber”, and combines basic elements of the composition such as lighting, indirect shading (climbing plants on the grid).
